​How you can help...

Have you ever wondered why so many of today's children are not able to make the connections necessary to grasp the concepts taught in a traditional school? Our system is failing our kids because the focus is on how they perform rather than what they perform.  If we do not address this critical area, our world is in danger of not equipping our students for the world we live in.   The current system is trying to catch up with our ever changing world and leaving many of our students behind rather than closing the gap. “Closing the Gap", a phrase we hear so often in education when in fact, the gap is not closing for the majority of students.  It is widening because the shift that is taking place does not leave room for those who learn differently but are very capable.  The funding for such a school can be very limited without outside support and we hope you will consider donating to the Deeper Root Academy (DRA) Scholarship Fund.
